Who Are We?

Cobalt Housing is a registered housing association based in North Liverpool. Cobalt was formed in February 2003 following the transfer of our homes from Liverpool City Council.

We manage and maintain 6000 affordable homes in the Fazakerley, Croxteth and Norris Green areas of North Liverpool. Our homes are mainly 3 bed family homes with no sheltered or supported accommodation.

As the majority landlord in the area, we are proud to have invested in our homes and neighbourhoods far beyond traditional upkeep and maintenance. We are also actively engaged in a wide range of economic, neighbourhood and community regeneration activities in the area we serve.

By providing quality places to live, and support to those who need it, we play our part in developing thriving communities where people are proud to live and can be their best.

Following the successful demerger from Onward Homes in September 2017, and in advance of an In-Depth Assessment (IDA), Cobalt Housing has received an interim grading of G2, V1 from its regulator, The Regulator of Social Housing (RSH).

Our skilled Board is ambitious, and we have financial strength and our service performance is good. To keep ourselves focused and on track, we’ve set out our key strategic aims in our business plan.

For more information on the plan or on Cobalt Housing, please visit our website on www.cobalthousing.org.uk

Whilst we have ambition, we recognise we have big challenges ahead. We believe that our independence better equips Cobalt Housing to deliver affordable homes and services that make a positive impact on our local residents and communities.

We are determined to achieve our strategic aims and deliver these in keeping with our values and are looking for individuals who share our values and passion for making a difference locally and are enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team.

If successful, you will be joining the committed and talented team at Cobalt. There couldn't be a better time to work with us at Cobalt Housing, our demerger has been an impetus for reflection and review into how we do things. Following on from a review of our service we’re reshaping how we deliver our Operational Services. As a result, we are seeking individuals with great technical and personal skills who can be part of our team.
